On saturday 18th November, I ordered food from chickish which was promptly cancelled by the restaurant (without our knowledge). We waited for over half an hour for the food which on the website said would arrive at 1:10am. We called up the restaurant and were told:
a) that our food was cancelled at the start and that
b) it was never made, and
c) this was because they had sent the driver home early so they had no one to deliver their orders.
Among my MANY complaints is that we weren't told any of this information, the website had said the order was confirmed, and that it was being delivered to our apartment at 1:10am. Needless to say, I am fuming!
We were told to call Just Eat the next day and ask for a refund, which I did. And Just Eat had told me the money would be back in my account the very same day. However, to add salt into the wound, exactly £20.22 was taken out of my account today on the 20th November 2017.
